Placing Monuments

about placing monuments

  • We get frequent questions about the procedure for replacing or repairing headstones and other cemetery monuments, as well as questions about the placement of headstones, tablets or other markers for previously unmarked graves.  Although the Friends of Midland neither handles these arrangements nor has the responsibility of keeping markers in good repair, we do make all attempts to preserve markers as much as feasible.  We also strongly encourage family, friends and community groups to keep markers in good repair, place markers on unmarked graves, and replace missing markers.

  • Below is a list of memorial marker and monument providers in the local area.
